The Jacobs Institute is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our creative team as the new Director of Career Development.
The Director of Career Development will develop and launch a new comprehensive career development program for the Master of Design (MDes) and undergraduate design students pursing the Berkeley Certificate of Design and Innovation (BDI) at Jacobs Institute. This role is dedicated to serving and engaging the current students and future graduates and connecting them to broader professional opportunities. As part of this work, the position works externally to build strong relationships with employers and alumni and directly contributes to the development of a unique professional network for Jacobs Institute and the MDes.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate, who is interested to develop something new, and has strong collaborative and communication skills, and is excited by the opportunity to shape, develop and deploy a custom career program for students working at the intersections of design and technology.
