Mark your calendars: UC Berkeley’s Big Give returns on Thursday, November 19. The 24-hour giving blitz, back for its second year, will take place from 9pm PST on November 18 to 9PM PST on November 19. With your support, students at the Jacobs Institute and across campus can think bigger and imagine farther.
How to get involved:
Join the fun on social media. Throughout the day on Thursday, we — along with many others — will be posting, tweeting and sharing about Big Give (find us on Facebook and Twitter @jacobsdesigncal). You can help spread the word too! Participate in social media contests — from “random child or pet promoting Berkeley” to “most creative picture of you promoting Cal” — throughout the day. Remember to include the hashtag #CalBigGive in all of your social media posts, and if you want to support the College of Engineering with your posts, add #CalEngineering so your contributions are eligible for the university’s matching contests.
Give to the Jacobs Institute. To contribute to the Jacobs Institute, please visit our giving page — gifts of all sizes make a big difference. If you give during the 24-hour Big Give period, your contributions to the Jacobs Institute Fund will be counted as part of the campus-wide blitz!
