Design Conversations Fall 2020

August 11, 2020 | 11:10 am

This Fall, we’re pleased to continue our Design Conversations series, “For Whom? By Whom? Designs for Belonging,” a series launched in Spring 2019 that invites three leading design thinkers to outline design’s blind spots and exclusions, and share their thoughts on possibilities for a future of belonging. We will be welcoming back the three speakers originally planned to speak in the Spring of 2020, unfortunately postponed due to COVID-19 logistics.

Though our building remains closed to non-essential workers, we will be facilitating this series through Zoom, alongside our Design Conversations homepage, where we encourage you to read about each guest beforehand and get to know them and their work. As always, this event is open to the public and all are encouraged to participate and engage with our speakers in the Q+A immediately following the presentation. Registration is required for each lecture, and can be found in the links below.

Please join us in welcoming:

Leah Buechley, September 25
Benjamin Earl Evans, October 2
Bryce Johnson, October 23

Each Friday Design Conversation will take place from 12 – 1 PM PDT.
