Innovative Design

Innovative Design describes itself as “a family of graphic designers, web designers, and photographers” on campus. If you’re interested in visual design, they probably have something for you: the club works on client projects, puts on events where students can learn key skills and hear from industry practitioners, and leads two student-taught DeCal coursesGraphic Design Basics and Introduction to Photoshop and Illustrator.

At Jacobs Hall, students gather weekly for DeCal courses in the building’s studios, which support the club’s hands-on approach to graphic design instruction. The building has also been the site of events like CMYK: Come Make Your Mark, a day full of workshops and keynotes from designers at companies like Google, Adobe, and Everlane.
