Halloween at Jacobs Hall
October 8, 2018
This Halloween, ditch the costume-in-a-bag and use tools at Jacobs Hall and the CITRIS Invention Lab to create your own designs. Get into the spirit by joining us at the events below.
COSTUME BUILDING @ THE CITRIS INVENTION LAB
10/29 & 10/30, 9am-5pm; 10/31, 9am-11:30am | 141 Sutardja Dai Hall
It’s never too early to start your Halloween costume planning and this year (as always) the CITRIS Invention Lab is here to help out. We are stocking the lab with material and supplies to make your costume come to life (or back to life…your choice). The CITRIS Invention Lab will be open to help you. See you soon!
This event is open to all students and staff. A Maker Pass is not required; participants just need to sign a waiver form.
MAKERS' CONTEST & STUDENT PARTY @ JACOBS HALL
10/31, 12:30-1:30pm | 220 Jacobs Hall
This month, create your own Halloween costumes, props, and decorations — then win bragging rights and prizes for your creations at the Makers Contest and Student Party on 10/31.
All members of the Berkeley community are invited to participate. Both costumes and props/decorations are welcome, though functional/realistic weapons are not. The winner of the contest will be determined by the audience, based on projects’ creativity and demonstrated skill, so make your submissions as creatively frightening and frighteningly creative as possible.
The winner of the contest will receive a pair of tickets to Exploratorium After Dark. Everyone will receive lots of candy.
