Join our community in celebrating the moments that make Berkeley’s design community so special — from the conversations in class to the late-night prototyping sessions. We’ll be sharing stories of impact on our social media channels, highlighting how students turn ideas into reality. Want to spark more of these moments? Philanthropic gifts — of all sizes — play a major role in making our work possible. Your gift can support initiatives that include:
•Access for students with financial need. Help ensure that our makerspace resources remain accessible to all students — gifts help enable us to keep student costs down and to offer full Maker Pass fee waivers to students with financial need.
•Mentorship and resources in the makerspace. Philanthropic support keeps our makerspace running smoothly and boosts the resources we can offer, from design specialists’ expert guidance to new skill-building workshops for students.
•Equipment to ensure our students stay at the cutting edge. Our students work at the intersection of human-centered design and emerging technology — help make sure they have access to the latest tools for experimentation and creation.
