The Data Science Discovery Program connects undergraduates with hands-on, team-based opportunities in cutting-edge data research projects at UC Berkeley, government agencies, community groups, and entrepreneurial ventures.
The Jacobs Institute and Women in Technology Initiative (WITI) is seeking three student researchers this semester for our project “Visualizing UC Berkeley Jacobs Student Maker Community Data to Inform Diversity & Inclusion Efforts.” The goal is to understand the current demographics, trends, and effective pathways as well as insights on potential opportunities for improving both participation and retention of underrepresented students in Jacobs programs.
